This hasn’t been a completely crazy week but I’m still so very glad it’s Friday. I have some things that I really want to get done this weekend. I’m going to organize all of my oracle, tarot, and angel card decks. That will take a while because I have a lot of decks! And then I’m going to start working on the new storyline that I’m going to integrate into Rapture. I’ll mostly be making notes. I found some dry erase flashcards that I think will be helpful when I start working on that tomorrow. I want to get things straightened up first though. I’ve been letting Smurf use my Magical Writing Haven as his safe haven while he gets acclimated to the house and all of the other animals and he gets a little crazy since he was an outside feral cat and knocks things off and scatters them around the room. But he’s so sweet and adorable and he’s just learning to be a house cat. Anyway, I have plans and I can’t wait to get started.

Good luck with the cat. My daughter has two cats — one feral. She is also sweet but has never ever really gotten the hang of domestication.

This is our 8th feral cat and he’s definitely the most difficult integration so far. We had 1 that was about a year old when we brought him home but he had been semi-domesticated here at work. He fit right in. We’ve had 5 that were small kittens so they also did very well but 1 of them still has feral tendencies however, now that he’s about 9 years old, he’s slowed down and become my husband’s lap cat. And I brought another 1 home that was several months old and it took almost 4 years to make him feel 100% comfortable. And there is Smurf who is probably around 6 months old. He is a total love bug but I can’t break him of using his claws and teeth to get attention. He’s also having an issue with our 2 male cats who are neutered but he isn’t yet. So I think that is fueling their issues with each other. We are going to get him fixed soon and I hope that eases the discord. For now, he’s happy in his suite of rooms…my writing haven, the master bath and bedroom during the day until I get home in the evening and open the bedroom door.
