Day 90: Back to the Real World

3 days working, 7 days off, 2 days working, 4 days off and now 3 days working then the weekend…I could get used to that schedule!  But reality has set in so we’ll see how strong my will and determination are now that I’m back in the 8:00 – 5:?? workday real world.  There are some things that I am going to have to deal with tonight that are important (I have a new health insurance formulary that I need to do some inquiries in before my doctor’s visit tomorrow) but I am determined to write something before I go to bed.  How much I write will depend upon how long the health insurance inquiries take me to complete.  But I am not going to let it stop me.  I also want to work on my goals for the new year by getting them into my planner.  So it could be a jam-packed 4 or 5 hours.  And that’s fine because if I don’t stretch myself, how will I move forward?  Sometimes you have to prove to yourself that you can do the things that you are determined to do.  You have to prove your inner critics wrong.  If I can get something done tonight, I can definitely get it done on a normal night when I’m not having to deal with a new health insurance formulary.  Life will always find a way to interfere with your plans but you have to just keep figuring out ways to work around what it throws at you.  Personally, I’m planning to leave at 5:15, get my outside critters at home fed, eat dinner, tackle the insurance, then write.  I will most definitely write something because nothing is going to stop me!
